Wet Pavement On Hamburg Rathausmarkt
HAMBURG, GERMANY · 05 Sep 2026 · TWELVE SECONDS
People walk across the wet brick paving of Rathausmarkt in front of the Hamburg Rathaus, whose clock tower and green copper roof rise behind them. The city hall was built between 1886 and 1897 and inaugurated on 26 October 1897. Its tower reaches 112 metres, and the building contains 647 rooms and stands on more than 4,000 oak piles.
The archive does not edit, trim, or re-frame what it receives. The recording is the camera's own output; the archive's only interventions are cataloguing it and preparing a copy that will play.
