U-Bahn Train Crossing The Oberbaumbrücke
BERLIN, GERMANY · 23 Sep 2026 · TWELVE SECONDS
A yellow U-Bahn train runs along the upper deck of the Oberbaumbrücke while cars and pedestrians move on the lower roadway, and the Spree flows through the stone arches below. The double-deck bridge opened in 1896 after two years of construction. Otto Stahn designed it in North German brick Gothic style, and its two towers were modelled on the Mitteltorturm in Prenzlau.
The archive does not edit, trim, or re-frame what it receives. The recording is the camera's own output; the archive's only interventions are cataloguing it and preparing a copy that will play.
