Set into the Mezquita-Catedral's north wall along this street is the altar of the Virgen de los Faroles, named for a neighbour who kept its eighteen lanterns lit every night. The canvas hanging there now is by Rafael Romero Pellicer, son of Julio Romero de Torres, who painted the 1928 one.
