Platform Advertising, Liberty Square Metro Station
TBILISI, GEORGIA · 20 Jul 2021 · TWELVE SECONDS
A woman in black walks along the island platform past three backlit advertising panels set into marble-clad walls; in the last frame a white and red metro train stands at the opposite track with seated passengers visible through the windows. The station opened on 6 November 1967 as an extension of the original Rustaveli–Didube line and was named Lenin Square until 1991. It was renovated in 2006 and is one of the deepest stations on the network.
The archive does not edit, trim, or re-frame what it receives. The recording is the camera's own output; the archive's only interventions are cataloguing it and preparing a copy that will play.
