Cats Below the Old San Juan Walls

SAN JUAN, UNITED STATES · 25 Dec 2024 · TWELVE SECONDS
Three cats rest and groom on the wide paved path at the base of the masonry city wall, with more cats farther up the path and embedded ground lights along the wall. A bartizan, or garita, stands on the wall above. Construction of the walls around San Juan began in 1634, and by 1650 the city was fully encircled. The walls are part of the UNESCO World Heritage listing inscribed in 1983.
The archive does not edit, trim, or re-frame what it receives. The recording is the camera's own output; the archive's only interventions are cataloguing it and preparing a copy that will play.
